Testimonials

I contacted Hilary prior to my daughter’s wedding with some ideas about how to use a special piece of fabric to make me a dress. I was impressed by Hilary’s helpful approach to choosing the design and then her attention to detail in the making up of the dress.

At a busy time Hilary was able to make a dress I was delighted with, within a fairly short period of time. The finish was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend her. Thank you Hilary.

Hello Hilary, thank you so much for your work on the jacket. Wonderful!

LS, Oxford

I would highly recommend Pearce’s Pins. Hilary has transformed some key pieces in my wardrobe and I’m delighted with what she’s done. It’s clear why she’s always in such great demand. I’ve already been back for a couple of other things which again have been perfect. Thanks Hilary.

My altered jacket a joy to wear and much admired! Thank you for taking so much trouble, including the elegant fabric inside the cuffs.

Thank you so much for revitalising my 1953 dress.  You were so clever to figure out how to “enlarge” it.
