Pearce's Pins

Pachamama

Sewing together for a good cause.

At Pearce's Pins we're proud to host a volunteer sewing group in support of The Pachamama Project, a charity that makes and distributes reusable menstrual products for refugees and displaced people around the world. It's a chance to put our sewing skills to good use and help families in real need.

Our friendly group meets at the shop to cut, sew and pack kits together. Everyone is welcome, whatever your level of experience — if you can use a pair of scissors, there's a job for you, and if you're just starting out, we'll happily show you the ropes. It's a sociable, rewarding way to spend a few hours and make a genuine difference.

How you can help

  • Join a sewing session at the shop — equipment and guidance provided
  • Sew kits at home if you'd prefer to help in your own time
  • Donate suitable fabric
  • Spread the word to friends and local groups

We'd love to welcome you. To find out when the group next meets or how you can get involved, please get in touch and we'll be glad to tell you more.
