Look what we made!
Sewing Bee Wednesdays have been a fabulous opportunity for sewers to re-kindle their skills. Both new and experienced sewers can work on their own sewing projects and gain confidence in their sewing ability.
Bring your own projects and use your own sewing machine! Advice and guidance, haberdashery, patterns and materials are all available from Pearce’s Pins workshop. Come for as many Wednesdays as you wish, 1.00 pm – 3.15 pm. Pay on the day £15. Refreshments provided.
“I have learnt a lot of tips. With a bit of supervision you can tackle a more challenging project. Sewing Bee has been a really happy, positive experience” Bridget
“In my younger days I used to make some of my own clothes. Then it all stopped. Over 40 years later I joined Hilary’s Sewing Bee. With her encouragement, expertise and patient guidance I have been given the confidence to start creating my own clothes again – and it feels great!” Jenny
“Sewing Bee – I love it. Learning all the extra techniques to make it work and learning how to alter my pattern.” Jacqui
“I absolutely love coming to this Sewing Bee. Hilary is a fantastic support to help and encourage your passion and creation when making garments. I came along as a complete beginner in the Summer last year and have made lots of garments for friends, family and myself.” Angie
